Carol L. Cotton, 75, of Milan, died Saturday, July 14, 2018 at home. Per her wishes, services will be private. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.

Carol was born in Moline, Ill. on November 29, 1942, a daughter of Walter Lee and Ruby Ruth Robertson Williams. She attended Rock Island High School.

Carol married Samuel K. Dusenberry in 1959. They divorced. She married Wilbert C. Cotton in 1965.

They later divorced. Carol was a wonderful women who enjoyed spending time with her family and helping others. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Mark (Doris) Cotton, Rock Island, Laura Cotton, Milan and Lisa (Betty Wildemuth) Munday, Port Byron; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; niece, Julie VanDePutte, Rock Island; nephews, Steve (Tami) VanDePutte, Calif.

and Mike (Chris) VanDePutte, Ophiem, Ill. ; and 2nd cousin, Cecily (Don) Miles. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Barbara J. VanDePutte.
