Obituary for Mrs. Carol Louise Rathbun Liptak Carol Louise Rathbun Liptak, 63, was called to Jesus arms on June 22, 2018 in Black Mountain, NC. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael “Emil” Liptak. Carol was guided through life by her deep faith in Christ, which gave her a loving attitude and beautiful smile.

She is survived by her beloved dog, Gracie Lou; her mother, Shirley Rathbun; her sister, Peggy Dyer; her children, Bonnie Peaslee, Faith Knowles, Michael Liptak and Chelese Crawford; many grandchildren,nieces and nephews and too many friends to count. A gathering of friends to celebrate Carol’s life will be held 12:00 PM, Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Black Mountain. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, bwar.org.
