Robert Earl “Shorty” Norton, 85, of Fletcher, passed away on July 10, 2018 at the Life Care Center of Hendersonville. Shorty served in the United States Army and retired from 30+ years in car sales. He was also a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church.

His wife, Virginia Loreen Norton, preceded him in death. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Louise Messer and Mary Wright; daughters, Linda Norton Prescott and Cathy Ann Gehrke; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday July 15, 2018 at Boiling Springs Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm.

Pastor Cody Sturgill will be officiating.
