Carol Ann Weber, 84 LISBON – Carol Ann Weber, of Lisbon, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019 at her son’s home surrounded by her loving family. She was 84. Born in East Palestine, April 3, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Warren G. and Martha Whitehouse Gorby.

A member of the East Palestine High School Class of 1952, she continued her education at Mount Union College where she earned her teaching degree. For many years, she taught elementary school in the Beaver Local School System. She also taught in the Southington School System and Maple Ridge Schools.

Carol enjoyed flower gardening, walking and bird watching but above all things she loved her grandchildren. Her husband, Bruce R. Weber, survives at home. The couple married June 14, 1957.

There are four children: a daughter Amy Daley and her husband, Dennis, of Somerset, Pennsylvania, and three sons: Mark Weber and his wife, Cathy, of East Liverpool, Stephen Weber and his wife, Kelly, of Lisbon, and Joel Weber and his wife, Dawn, of Brownsville, Ohio. Also left to cherish her memory are 9 grandchildren, Dustin, Tiffany, Patrick, Katharine, Markie, Tyler, Macy, Kenzie and Levi. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Laura Weber, a sister, Norma Ferrall and a brother Herb Gorby.
