Carole Jo Copeland Gill, 71, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday at her home. She was preceded in death by Wanda J. Copeland and James Brice Copeland, and by her brother, Dennis Copeland. Surviving family members include her husband, Charles R. “Skip” Gill; Her five sons: Patrick J. (Kellie) Gill, Bobby (Cindy) Stair, Thomas J. (Tina) Gill, John David (Jackie) Stair, and Joseph P. Gill; Her brother, Randy Copeland; Her sister, Sandy Copeland; Her brother, Russell Copeland; She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Copeland Cemetery in Blount County, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association www. alz.org. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
