Graveside Services for Carolene Lee Stone, eighty-four, who died on Sunday, July 22, 2018, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 30, 2018, at Huckabay Cemetery with Gary Williams officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Lacy Funeral Home. Carolene was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on April 21, 1934, to Edd Smith and wife, Neoma Faye (Owen) Smith.

She married James Leonard (Junior) Stone on October 5, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2014. Carolene was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her children, Carole Ann Stone of Hurst, Texas, James Lee (Jimmy) Stone of Hurst, Texas, and Russell Dan Stone of Hurst, Texas; grandchildren, Melissa Farner, Brooke Byars, Luke Allen, Jennifer Pascua, Ryan Stone, Nathan Stone, and Eddie Stone; great-grandchildren, Lacey Fitzsimmons, Dustin Smith, Holly Morris, Jacob Morris, Sara Farner, Kaden Farner, Noah Farner, Ethan Farner, Briley Byars, Isaac Pascua, Anneliese Dickson, Kaylie Stone, Kasen Stone, and Kaelyn Stone; great great-grandchildren, Kassidy Jesmain, Haven Friedsam, and Brookelyn Friedsam; an uncle, Raymond Owen; and many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Leonard (Junior) Stone, sister, Patsy Valdez, great-grandchild, Tori Pascua, and parents, Edd & Neoma Smith.
