Carolyn’s Obituary Carolyn Fredell Shuford, 67, of Gastonia, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. She was born May 20, 1951, daughter of the late Edgar and Mae Fredell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Garland Richard Shuford.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Ric Shuford and wife, Suzi, Lee Shuford and wife, Tonya; brothers, Carl, Lonnie, and Howard Fredell; sisters, Louise Smith and Virginia Decker; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia.

Rev. Carl Fredell will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
