Gene’s Obituary Gene Howell White, 88, of Clover, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born December 8, 1930 in Cleveland County, NC son of the late Jackson John White and Sallie Corilla Howell. Gene was a member of Crowders Creek ARP Church.

He was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Korean War. He retired from Westvaco after 38 years of service. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Betty Lou Railey White and wife, Lila Moses White.

He is survived by his sons, Bobby White, David White, Jimmy White and girlfriend Mindy, and Matthew White and wife Debbie; daughters, Judy Greene and Mary Meadows and husband Kenny; brothers, Harold White and wife Joan; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Stuart Fowler held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Crowders Creek ARP Church, Gastonia – 207 Crowders Creek Church Rd. , Gastonia, NC 28052.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at the church cemetery. Condolences may be made online at www.
