Carolyn Kay Ricer, 67, of Ashland, went to be with the Lord October 23, 2018. Carolyn was born May 20, 1951 in Ashland to Lawrence and Ethel {Vanetta} Maust. She married the love of her life, James “Jim” Ricer, on March 12, 1987.

Carolyn was a homemaker and later enjoyed being an STNA. She enjoyed camping and fishing at Lake Erie with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her children Tim (Brittany) Maust of Ashland, Tom (Kristi) Maust of Columbus; brother Randy (Judy) Maust; sisters Robyn Johnson of Ashland, Shirley Keener of MO; step children Stephanie Knowlton, Mark Ricer, Kathy Ricer, all of Ashland, Alan Ricer of FL, Tina Berry of GA, and Tammy Ricer of KY, and special friend Wendy Maust, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Jim, parents, sister Sandy Wright, and step son Brian Ricer. Friends may call Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland. Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Tommy Theisen officiating.
