Linda Marie Oliver, 70, of Howard, died Friday, October 19, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital, in Newark. Linda was born June 29, 1948 in Mount Vernon to Forrest Washington and Edith {Erow} Frazee. She graduated from Riverview High School in 1966.

She married Norman Oliver on July 3, 1966. Linda worked at the Clark Gas Station in Mount Vernon, and the Galley Restaurant in Howard. They were members of The Church of God in Mount Vernon, until it closed.

Linda loved to write poetry, feed birds, and be on the computer. She also wrote many short stories under the pen name Monkey Butt. Linda will be deeply missed by her husband Norman of Howard; children David Oliver of Fredericktown, Rhonda Oliver of Mount Vernon, and Paul (Cassandra) Oliver of Newark; grandchildren Jeffrey, Michael (Bethany), Brittany, Cynthia (Phil), Mickey, Sylvia, Caleb, and Noah; ten great-grandchildren; and her loving dog Sassy.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Jeffrey Frazee. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Mount Vernon Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 at the funeral home with Kevin Oliver officiating.

Burial will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www. RobertsFuneralHome.com.
