Obituary for Carolyn Ray Ballew Memorial Services for Carolyn Ray Ballew, age 65 of Mineola, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Mineola with Bro. Mark Neely officiating. Miss Ballew went to be with her Lord and twin, Marilyn Kay Ballew on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at her residence in Mineola, TX.

She was born March 28, 1953 in Grand Prairie, TX to the late Vernon Elton and Mazie Bell (Hill) Ballew. She graduated from Bryan Adams high School in Dallas, TX in 1972. She worked at the State Fair of Texas information booth and other areas, was a CNA at East Texas Medical Center and at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, TX for 10 years and also worked at the Wal Mart in Lindale, TX.

Carolyn was a member of the Dallas Figure Skating Club, the USFSA and ISTA. Ice skating was truly her passion for over 25 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mineola, TX.

Carolyn id survived by her sister, Jackie Russell and husband, Joe of Longview, TX; brother, Joe Ballew and wife, Terri of Marble Falls, TX; half-sister, Patricia Khweis of Amarillo, TX and half-brother, Larry W.
