Obituary for Carolyn Sue Kimmerling Carolyn Sue Kimmerling, 81, of Anderson, passed away on December 21, 2018 at Community Hospital in Anderson. She was born on September 29, 1937 in Anderson, Indiana, where she resided all of her life. She worked for Anderson Health Care, and retired after 16 years of service.

She was an avid reader, loved to work puzzles, and especially loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren. Carolyn is survived by her loving daughters, Debra White, Kelly Scott, and Julie Marling; grandchildren; Jason, Courtney, Britney (John Wilson), Kiely, Cody, and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Shelby, Madison, Jorden, Claire, Knoah, Jozelynn, Gannen, Kale, Libby, Kazh, Shatona, Charlie, Karter, and Kinley, and one great-great-granddaughter, Amelia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Charles and Ruby Delong; mother, Mildred Delong; siblings, Charles Delong, Shirley Ball, George Delong, Barbara Arnold, Betty Painter, and Ruth McCallister; son-in-laws, Mark Scott and Donald L. “Mouse” White; and granddaughter, Sarah Scott. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
