Carrie I. Lawson, 94, of Riley went home on May 26, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Clay County, IN on March 25, 1924 to Bert and Theresa (Barnhart) Musgrave. Her husband Windell Lawson preceded her in death in 2007.

She was a member of the Terre Haute Bible Center. Carrie was also preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Dorothy Crouse and Mary Hollingsworth; and her brothers Marion Miller, Ralph Musgrave, Marvin Musgrave, Robert L. Musgrave, and Ray Musgrave. Her survivors are a son Windell Cecil Lawson, her grandchildren Rob Lawson, Cara Lawson, and Seth Lawson.

She has five great-grandchildren that include a great-grandson Mike Felling and his wife Leigh Ann that were her longtime caregivers. Funeral services will be in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, Friday June 1, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Lee officiating.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. For those who choose memorial contributions can be made to St. Ann Clinic or Bethany House in her memory.
