She was born October 20, 1982 in Ft. Myers, FL to Jeffrey and Diane Posey.

Carrie is survived by her daughter, Ariya Thomas; mother, Diane Posey; father, Jeffrey Posey; brother, Lucas Posey; grandparents, Bill & Gloria MacMartin, J.L. & Edith Posey; grandmother of Ariya, Lesa Malloy. She is preceded in death by grandmother, Mary Leazenby; and grandfather, Wesley Leazenby. A memorial service will be held by the family at 2 pm on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Buchanan Christian Church, 112 W. 3rd St., Buchanan, MI 49107.
