Mr. Carroll “Freddie” Fred Loftin Jr. December 04, 1944 – March 09, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card SERVICES: Wednesday, March 13, 2019 Jones and Son Chapel 10:30 a.m. INTERMENT: Union Cemetery VISITATION: Tuesday, March 12, 2019 Jones and Son Funeral Home 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2019 for Mr. Carroll Fred “Freddie” Loftin Jr., age 74, of Richton, at Jones and Son Chapel. Mr. Loftin passed away on March 9, 2019 at Merit Health Wesley. Bro.

Evan Freeman and Bro. Justin Stinson will officiate with burial to follow in the Union Cemetery. Mr. Loftin was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Fred Loftin Sr.; mother, Ruby Lee Loftin Williams.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Loftin of Richton; daughter, Swonia (Eddie) Mayo of Richton; sons, Eddy (Tonya) Freeman of Richton, Scott (Connie) West of Addis, LA; sisters, Carolyn McRaney of Prentiss, Ora Bell Williams of Florence; grandchildren, Olivia Sullivan, Logan Walley, Heather Howard, Haley Henson, Cody Smith, Calee Dauzart; great-grandchildren, Thatcher Smith, Edith Smith, Grayson Dauzart, Karalee Freeman, Katniss Howard, Macie Thompson, Cole Thompson, Tatum Sullivan. Mr. Loftin taught at Petal High School and then became a Vocational Rehab Counselor with the State of Mississippi. He was active in the H.A.M. Radio Club and was of the Baptist faith.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2019 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Jones and Son Funeral Home.
