Butler September 03, 1939 – February 27, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card GRAVESIDE: Saturday, March 2, 2019 Moselle Memorial Gardens Cemetery 10:00 a.m. INTERMENT: Moselle Memorial Gardens Cemetery Graveside Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Moselle Memorial Gardens Cemetery for Mr. Bruce E. Butler, age 79, of Moselle who passed from this life on February 27, 2019 at Forrest General Hospital. Bro. Keith Thompson will officiate with burial to follow.

Pallbearers will be Kommiskey-Wheat Detachment #1073 Department of Mississippi Marine Corp League. Mr. Butler finished high school at Natchitoches, LA in 1957. He joined the Marine Corp in 1958 and was a member of the Kommiskey-Wheat Detachment #1073 Department of Mississippi Marine Corp League.

He moved to Hattiesburg, MS in 1961 and was hired by to the Illinois Central Railroad and retired from the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad. He lived in Petal for 37 years then moved to Moselle. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Carl Butler.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Butler of Moselle; son, Greg (Andrea) Butler of Moselle; daughter, Cynthia Butler of Ellisville; grandchildren, Morgan, Vaeda, Micah and great-grandchild, Branson. Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle is in charge of services.
