Mrs. Puente was a member at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband: Juan D. Mendez; children: Veronica L. Mendez (Marcelo) of Jonesboro, Juan M. Mendez of Stockbridge and Ruben C. Mendez; brothers: Miguel Puente of Los Angeles, CA, Francisco Puente (Maria Del Pilar), Andres Puente (Marie Felix), Juan Puente all of Mexico; sisters: Maria Macedonia Puente, Raquel Puente, Lucila Puente all of Mexico; grandchildren: Dyllon Dominguez, Bradley Dominguez, Kaitlyn Guerrero, and Leonardo Guerrero; nephews: Luis E. Puente and Jorge A. Arciniega; nieces: Norma Arciniega and Margarita Arciniega and extended family.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, January 18th, 2019 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church with Father Luis Palacios Rodriguez, OFM Conv. officiating. Burial to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Thursday, January 17th, 2019 at the funeral home.
