Catherine Edna Campbell Carwile, 64, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center Sunday, June 24, 2018. A native of St. John’s, Newfoundland, she was born April 17, 1954, the daughter of the late William Mugford and Mary Ann King Bowen. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Bowen.

Catherine graduated from DeLand High School in DeLand, FL. She had a career in food service and had been an owner/operator in that business. She was a member of Heaven Bound Full Gospel Church in Mocksville.

Her memory will be cherished by three sons, John A. Jones (Vicki) of Mocksville, Jeremery Richard Campbell (Erika) of Mabelvale, AR, and Charlie L. Campbell (Katrina) of Mocksville; two daughters, Patricia A. Bowen of Winston-Salem and Nora C. Crow of Advance; one brother, Robert Bowen of Toronto, Ontario; three sisters, Millicent Manning of Alberta, Canada, Levina N. McDonald of Advance, and Madonna Matthews of Florida, and a special friend, Lee Bo. Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. Services will be private.
