Obituary for Catherine Francis Payakovich (Spoletini) Print Catherine Francis Payakovich (Spoletini) June 24th, 1923 – February 19th, 2019 Catherine met God on February 19th, 2019. She is survived by her sons John of Arizona and his wife, Donna, David of New Zealand and his wife, Dana and Mark of Florida and his fiancée, Janet, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends. She resided in Bordentown, NJ for 92 years.
She retired from Clara Barton School after 22 years as a cafeteria worker. She was a life long member of St. Mary’s Church and the Rosary Society. She was always noticed walking to church every morning and this was a part of her everyday life which was very important to her.
She was also an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the Bordentown Senior Center. She moved to Arizona in January of 2017 to be with her son, John, his wife and grandchildren and allow her to be closer to her caregivers. She will join her husband, John, her sisters Elsie and Vera Dyson and brother, Morris Spoletini in heaven.
In lieu of flowers, family asks that you make contributions to Pillars Hospice, 10221 North 32nd Street, Suite H, Phoenix, Arizona 85028 to thank them for the wonderful care they provided to Catherine during her stay. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday March 1st, 2019 11:00 am at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church 45 Crosswicks St. Bordentown NJ 08505. Calling hours will be held Thursday evening from 6:00~9:00 pm and Friday morning 9:30 ~ 10:30 am at the funeral home.
