Cecelia’s Obituary Cecelia Jane Roberson, 71, of Indianola, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at her home with her loving family by her side. Cecelia was born December 4, 1947 to Cecil and Lorene Dye Presley in Batesville, Mississippi. She worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist for Greenwood Leflore Hospital for 15 years until her retirement.

Cecelia was also a hairdresser for many years. She enjoyed bowling, reading, painting, watching television, and going to the casino. Cecelia never met a stranger and loved to converse with everyone that she met.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Cecelia was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church in Indianola. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil Roberson; one brother, James Mallory; and one grandson, Morgan Lee Holeman, III.

Cecelia is survived by one sister, Phyllis Campbell of Leland; four daughters, Melody Frison and her husband Willie of Southaven, Mia Holeman and her husband Lee of Indianola, Millie Plunkett and her husband Randy of Arkansas, Stephanie Lawrence of Belzoni; three sons, Bradley McCoy and his wife Angela of Indianola, Brant McCoy of Indianola, J.R. Roberson and his wife Wanda of Indianola; thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola. A second visitation will be held Sunday, May 26, 2019 from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm funeral service at Burton Funeral Home in Indianola.

Burial will follow in Indianola City Cemetery. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements. Online condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.
