Obituary for Charlene Gitta Borgstrom Charlene Borgstrom, 79, of North St. Paul, passed away on June 26, 2018, surrounded by loved ones. Charlene was born November 26, 1938 to Arnold and Berdella (Berg) Romo. Charlene was a secretary at Tartan High School, in Oakdale, for 11 years.

She will be greatly missed. Charlene is survived by children; Kevin; Terese Almquist; Cheryl (Mike) Klesel; 7 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother Dean (Kathy) Romo; sister Iva (Vern) Anderson; many relatives and friends. Charlene was preceded in death by her husband Neil; her parents, Arnold and Berdella; a sister, Bonnie; and brothers, Allen and Gene.

The funeral service celebrating Charlene’s life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, at Lands Lutheran Church, with Rev. David Krinke officiating, (16640 Hwy 60 Blvd, Zumbrota, MN). Visitation will be Friday June 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mahn Family Funeral Home- Mahler Chapel (209 Northwest 1st Avenue, Pine Island, MN), and one hour prior to the service at the church.
