Charlene’s Obituary Charlene Heling, age 78 of Shawano, passed away on Saturday, February, 2, 2019 at Evergreen Nursing Home. She was born on July 11, 1940 in Shawano, the daughter of the late Victor and Jeanette (Seyler) Felts. She completed her schooling at Shawano High in 1958.

Charlene was united in marriage to Wallace R. Heling on July 6, 1974 at St. James Church in Shawano and the couple resided in Shawano all their married life. Wally preceded her in death on April 30, 2017. Char owned and operated Unique Beauty Shop in Gillett.

Charlene was a member of St. John Lutheran Church-Hermansfort, an active member of the Ladies Aid and a Sunday School Teacher. She was also a part of the St. John-Hermansfort Cemetery Society and A.A.L. Charlene enjoyed knitting, crocheting and her poodles. More than anything, she loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends.

Charlene is survived by: two daughters, Luann (Wayne) Tuma and Cheryl Heling; five grandchildren, Katie (Johan) Madrigal, Kristine Tuma, Kraig (Jodi) Tuma, Jenna Tuma and David Heling; three great-grandchildren, Dominic Lee Prince, Makayla Madrigal, and Nathan Madrigal; two brothers, Garry Felts and John (Lynn) Felts Shawano; brother-in-law, Clarence Krueger of Arizona; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Wally; her parents Victor and Jennette (Seyler) Felts; and her sister, Joan Krueger. Funeral services for Charlene will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at St. John’s Lutheran Church-Hermansfort with Rev.

Steve Conradt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, February 8, 2019 and again at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
