Charles D. (Denny) Wine, 80, of Hershey, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Hershey Medical Center. He was born to the late James T. and Martha (Hoerner) Wine. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Marvis (Pidge) (Diehl) Wine.

Charles is a Hershey High School grad, class of 1957, he went on to serve our country in the Army. He was a former bowler of Harrisburg, East. Charles was a booster club member and had season tickets to the Hershey Bears as well as a Capitals and Philly fan.

He loved to travel and was a member of the American Legion, Hershey #386. Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. In addition to his wife he is survived by his brothers: James W. Wine, Jr. of TN, Donald E. Wine of Hershey; sisters, Sheila (Kenneth) Smith of Hershey, and Sandra Ail of Hershey; son, Christopher D. Wine (Stefanie) of Hershey; grandchildren, Deven Wine of Enola, and Kyle Wine of Lebanon; and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his siblings Doloras Sutcliffe, Joyce Bricker and Carol Schank. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
