Born August 23, 1949, he was the son of Melvin Clyde and Christine Marie Chisholm. Charles was born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by both parents. There are many things that can be said about this man. He was a proud and honored United States Marine Corp Vietnam Veteran.

He worked at Comdial for 33 years before his retirement in 2013. On the rare occasion he wasn’t spending time with his grandkids, he loved to be at any nearby lake, casting his line in the water and waiting for a fish to bite. His passions included many things, including long distance running, shooting hoops, and biking.

He loved all things sports related, especially his Hoos. His many friends and family will remember him for his thoughtful, caring and loving ways. Survived by his wife, Rosemary Argaud Chisholm; daughter Kristina Chisholm and Gary of Ruckersville, VA; son Brian Chisholm and his wife Casey of Palmyra, VA; stepsons David Argaud and his wife Megan of Charlottesville, VA, Andrew Argaud and Caro Lina of Montebello, CA, and stepdaughter Jessica Moses and her husband Morgan of Leesburg, VA; as well as 9 grandchildren: Kaylee, Taegan, Natalia, Knox, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Baileigh, Legend, and Ella Rose.

Each and every one was a gift that he treasured. He is also survived by two brothers, David Chisholm of Free Union, VA and Kenneth Chisholm of GA. Funeral Services will be held at First Christian Church, 3285 Keswick Road, Keswick, VA on Monday, May 6, 2019.

The viewing will be at 10:00 AM with the funeral following at 11:30. Interment will be at 2:00 PM at Holly Memorial Gardens.
