Charles “Chas” Osmundson, 81, of Bemidji, MN died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. A Celebration of Life is pending. Charles Edwin Osmundson was born September 28, 1936 in Grand Forks, ND to Helmer and Florence (Johnson) Osmundson.

He grew up and attended school in Bemidji. He married Kathryn Preston in Bemidji where they raised their 5 children. Charles worked with his family business Steeple Jack.

He drove semi for Melvin Tobey, Beck Trucking, Helms Trucking, C.D. Haugen, Smith Trucking and Osmundson Enterprise Trucking. He enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, word find puzzles and spending time with his grandkids. He is survived by 4 daughters, Kris (Gar) Gilleshammer of Angle Inlet, Connie (Ron) Zastrow of Bemidji, Susan (Lyle) Annonson of Becida and Robin (Jim) Maras of Larkspur, CO; son, Robert (JoAnn) Osmundson of Bemidji; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
