Charles Lee Jones of Whitesburg, Ky. passed away at his residence on July 2, 2018. He was the son of the late Robert and Thelma Payne Jones.

Charles is survived by his wife Louise Mills Jones. He is also survived by 2 sons: Roger Lee Jones of Independence, Ky and Eddie Jones of Whitesburg; 2 brothers: Merle Ray Jones of Partridge and Lawrence Wayne Jones of Burgeys Creek; 1 sister: Wanda Hatton of Whitesburg; 3 grandchildren: Sierra Jones, Zachary Jones, and McKenzie Jones. Charles was preceded in death by 1 son: Larry Wayne Jones; 1 brother: Randall Jones.

Funeral: 12:00 O’clock Noon Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Hopper Funeral Home in Barbourville, Kentucky with Conard Profitt, Jabo Miles, and Billy Conn officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Calvary Temple Church and 5:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Hopper Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mills Cemetery at Hinkle, Kentucky.
