Charles Lee Snyder was born on June 2, 1948 in Dawson, Nebraska to Harley and Erma (Fielder) Snyder. On December 27, 1966, Charles enlisted in the United States Army and served his country until being honorably discharged on September 24, 1968. After his military service, Charles worked for many years as a roofer.

Charles passed away on August 9, 2018, in Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Beverly Henninger and Opal Hayes, and brother-in-law Ray Sullivan. Charles is survived by his sisters: Joyce Custer and her husband Gale of White Hall, IL; Patricia Kay Sullivan of White Hall, IL; brothers: Richard Snyder and his wife Sindy of Odell, NE; Dwayne Snyder of Lincoln, NE; brothers-in-law: Steve Henninger of Pawnee City, NE; Robert Hayes of Fairbury, NE; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside Inurnment Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at The Humboldt Cemetery in Humboldt, Nebraska with full military honors conducted by the Nebraska Army Honor Guard and the Harvey-Mann Legion Post #269. Memorial contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation. Condolences can be shared online at www.
