Charles’ Obituary Memorial service for Charles Norman Hawkins, 74 of Wills Point is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Kingdom Hall in Terrell. Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point. He passed away Tuesday night, January 15, 2019, in Mineola.

Charles was born August 20, 1944, in Compton, California, the son of Charles P. Hawkins and Helen May Voelcker Hawkins. He was raised in Compton and Covina, California. In 1962, he graduated from Covina High School.

On November 6, 1964, he married Wanda Leigh Keith in Covina. They lived in Hacinda, California and in 1975, they moved to Wills Point. Charles was in the floor covering business for several years, retiring in 2008.

In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting trains and putting them together, cooking and yard work. Charles was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Terrell. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen May Hawkins and a daughter, Debra Neameyer on April 18, 2015.

Charles is survived by his wife, Wanda Hawkins, of Wills Point; daughter, Carol Louise Adams & husband, Kevin, of Commerce; brother, Steven Pape Hawkins, of Paris; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
