Charles V. Galloway, age 66, of Carleton, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 in Garden City, Michigan. Born on July 7, 1952 in Trenton, Michigan, he was the son of Charles B. and Susanna (Desimpelaere) Galloway. On April 27, 1973 he married Jayne Strach in St. Patrick Catholic Church.

He was employed with Ford Motor Co. as a Millwright until retiring in 2008. Charles was a 1971 graduate of Airport High School. He loved the Detroit Red Wings, county music, camping, fishing, bowling and was proud of the 300 game that he bowled.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. He is survived by his sons Charles Joseph (Tammy) Galloway of Carleton and Christopher Mark (Nikki) Galloway of Ida; daughter Jayme Galloway of Louisville, KY; brother Matthew (Julia) Galloway of Carleton; sister Rosemary Knowles of Monroe; significant other Gloria Arens and 9 grandchildren. Friends may visit in the Arthur Bobcean Funeral Home, Carleton Chapel on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 7:00 pm. Deacon George Cousino of Divine Grace Parish will officiate the service. Cremation is to follow.
