OBITUARY Charles Wayne Thieneman October 22, 1951 – February 3, 2019 Charles “Wayne” Thieneman, went to his heavenly home on February 3, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Wayne was an ordained deacon in the Catholic Church for 25 years and served the people of St. Lawrence Church. He was also a member of St. Peter the Apostle Church.

He was an Ursuline associate for over 25 years, once served on the board of Harbor House, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was born on October 22, 1951 to William and Delores Thieneman. He was preceded in in death by his father, William (Bill) Thieneman; a brother, Terry Thieneman; and a sister, Angela Thieneman.

Left to treasure his loving memory is his wife Audrey Dawson Thieneman; two sons, Scott (Annie) Thieneman and Adam (Vicki) Thieneman; seven grandchildren, Victoria Thieneman, Nathan Thieneman, Hannah Thieneman, Cameron Thieneman, Claire Thieneman, Nita Stewart, and Jacob Prewitt; two great-grandchildren, Dawson Thieneman and Charleigh Miller. He is also survived by his mother, Delores Thieneman; two brothers, Ronald (Debbie) Thieneman and Tim (Susan) Thieneman; four sisters, Diane (Randy) England, Linda Ford, Sandy (Chuck) Bland, Mary Lou (Dave) Lotz; sister-in-law, Pam Thieneman; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of celebration will be at St. Peter the Apostle, 5431 Johnstown Road, on Friday at 11am with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.

Vistation will be on Thursday from 2pm until 8pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Harbor House, St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Peter the Apostle or St. Lawrence or the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville.
