Obituary of Charles DeWolf Charles E. “Chuck” DeWolf BLOSSVALE – Charles E. “Chuck” DeWolf, age 74, of Blossvale, passed away on Wednesday April 18, 2018, at the Oneida Healthcare Facility. Born on December 26, 1943, in Plattsburgh, NY, he was the son of the late Edward Earl and Mary Ann (Baron) DeWolf. On March 14, 1975, he was united in marriage to Karen Smith in Vernon, and shared a loving union for over 43 years.

Chuck was employed by Oneida LTD in the Powerhouse as a boiler Technician until his retirement in 2004. He was skilled in carpentry and masonry. Chuck enjoyed his time outdoors camping and his time on the water boating and fishing, especially at Fish Creek and Lewis Point.

Survivors include, his loving wife, Karen DeWolf of Blossvale; his two sons, Daniel DeWolf and his wife, Barbara, and Scott DeWolf and his wife, Luanne; his two sisters, Cathy Mulga, and Holly Urtz and her husband, Mike; his two brothers, Dale DeWolfe, and wife, Susan, and Timothy DeWolfe and wife, Jeannine; his six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; along with several uncles and aunts; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Chuck was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth G. “Ken” DeWolf. Family and friends and invited to call on Tuesday, April 24,2018 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc. located at 23 Front Street in Vernon.

A burial will take place at a later date at the family’s convenience. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Chuck’s name may be made out to the COPD Foundation, 1140 3rd Street NE, 2nd Floor, Washington, DC 20002. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.
