Charlotte Dodson Snyder May 10, 1938 – March 21, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Charlotte Dodson Snyder, 80, of Romney, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Hampshire Memorial Hospital Extended Care Unit surrounded by family and friends. Her life’s journey started on May 20, 1938 in Clarke County, VA. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd Spillmand and Adele Sisk Dodson.

Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Marion Asa Snyder; sons: Glen Lee Webster, Jr. (Margaret) of Gore, VA and Roy Wayne Webster (Steven) of New Market, MD; daughters: Missy Webster Strite (Eric) of Shanks, WV and Amy Snyder Carney (Mason) of Jessup, MD; 5 grandchildren: Rebekah (Christopher) Simpson, Jacob (Eileen) Strite, Heather (Paul) Bickley, Amber (Richard) Burdette and Zachary Webster; 5 great-grandchildren: Noah, Brayden, Branan, Nevaeh and Hunter, and 2 step-grandchildren, Caitlin and Madeline. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Glen, Vernon, Bill, Don and Johnny Dodson and 3 sisters, Evelyn Morrison, Shirley Peany Nichols, and Doris Elliott. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church, Romney, WV with Rev.

James Tyree officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Gideon’s International, Hampshire Co. Camp, P.O. Box 240, Romney, WV 26757 or the Hampshire Memorial Hospital Extended Care Unit Resident’s Fund, 363 Sunrise Blvd. , Romney, WV 26757. All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, WV.
