Obituary for Charlotte L Ash Charlotte L Ash, 89, of Elizabethtown, passed away Sunday July 1, 2018 at Green Valley Nursing Home in New Albany She was born in Harrisburg, PA to Harry and Josephine Leader. She retired from the Finance Department on Ft. Knox as a civil servant.

She was a long time member of St. James Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by both parents, as well as her husband, Melbourne Ash. She is survived by her , Daughter, Kathlene Basham, Step-Daughter, Lisa (Richard) Watson, Step-Son, Tommy Ash, five grandchildren: Michelle (Terry) Heintz, Mark (Bridget) Coogle, Erin Moore, Francis Wilson, Autumn Ash; Sister-In-Law, Martha (Butch) Hornback, Brother-In-Law, Bob (Lucy) Ash, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a special friend, Clara Ellis.

Funeral Services will be held July 3, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Manakee Funeral Home of Elizabethtown, with Father Casey Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be July 3, 2018 from 10:00 am to the time of service.
