Obituary for Chester Ogrodnik Chester A. Ogrodnik, 72, of Enfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. Chester was born on November 30, 1945 in Providence, RI and was the son of the late Chester J. and Edna (Synowiec) Ogrodnik. He was a lifelong resident of Enfield and retired from United Technologies Corporation as a machinist.

Chester also proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. In his spare time, he loved to drive his Corvettes and spend time with his cats. Chester is survived by his brother, Bernard Ogrodnik and his wife Marie of Hampstead, North Carolina and also by his sister, Elizabeth Haberman of Vernon.

He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews; Jason Haberman, Sheri Schmeiske, Daniel Ogrodnik, Christine Ogrodnik and David Ogrodnik. Services for Chester will be private and held at the convience of the family. Should friends desire, contributions in Chester’s memory may be made to the Enfield Loaves and Fishes, 28 Prospect Street Enfield, CT 06082.
