Chester “Sonny” A. Williams, age 83, of Zanesville, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Genesis Hospice facility. Chester was born on December 13, 1934 to the late Chester A. Williams and Henerietta Dalton. In addition to his father and mother, Chester is preceded in death by siblings; Roy, Earl Helen, Dorothy and Edna.

Chester is survived by his wife, Sherril, Children; Jackie, Melody, Michelle (Michael) Dalton, Juli, Wendy and Darin, Siblings; Henry, Russell, James and George, along with 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many other family and friends. Chester was a faithful member of the Wing of Hope Church. He was also a veteran of the Marines reserved.

Chester is sure to be missed by many. You may call on the family Thursday, July 5th from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m, at Burrell Funeral Services. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 6th at 11 a.m., at the Wings of Hope Tabernacle Church, 709 Lee St., in Zanesville, Jim Workman officiating.

Graveside service will be held following the service at Woodlawn Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
