Born April 1, 1923, in Rockford, the son of Nick and Anna (Psaltis) Pikios. Formerly employed at Bonton Warehouse and Reed Chatwood.

Lifetime member of St. Constantine Greek Orthodox Church. He loved his family, exercising and working out at the Y. Survivors include daughter, Ann (Michael) Diamond; son, Nick (Linda) Pikios; grandchildren, Brian Diamond, Michael (Emalee) Diamond, Eric Diamond, Sarah Diamond and Cyndi Dull; great-grandchildren, Sebastian Martin, Charles Diamond and Corey Dull; great-great-grandson, Liam; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; wife, Mary; and sisters, Mary Manesis, Katie Chesak and Lola Weber.

Arrangements are pending at Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
