Pfluger, 59, of Brodhead, WI, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019, in Mercy Health System – Janesville, WI. Born March 7, 1959, in Rockford, IL, the son of Dr. Robert and Elaine (Labunski) Pfluger. Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Northern Illinois University.

Veteran of the U.S. Army. Married Elizabeth Morris on August 19, 1989. Employed by Colony Brands Monroe.

Life member of American Veterans. David loved his dog, Oscar, woodworking, traveling with Elizabeth, science and nature. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Sarah Pfluger; mother, Elaine Pfluger; brothers, Daniel (Dawn), Thomas (Daniele) and John (Dawn) Pfluger; sisters, Deborah (Scott) Seynemeier, Barbara (Bill Allen) Pfluger and Diane (Michael) Wellwerts; many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his father; and brother, Mark Pfluger. Service at 10 a.m. Monday, March 4, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 3, in the funeral home with Rosary recited at 4:45 p.m. A memorial will be established.
