Christian F. Tolderlund, 57, of Newington, passed away unexpectedly Thursday (January 17, 2019) at home. Born in Meriden, he was a graduate of Platt High School, class of 1978, he lived in Meriden and New Britain before moving to Newington in 2004. Chris worked as an auto body repairman at Schaller Auto in New Britain for over 10 years.

Surviving is his mother, Lena Baba and her husband Wilson of Newington; a step-daughter, Dovila Vilkauskaite of Austin, TX; four brothers, Jeff Berger of Meriden, James Berger of Storrs, Joseph Berger and his wife Donna of Newington, and Kevin Tolderlund and his wife Karen of Wolcott; several nieces and nephews as well as four grand nephews. Funeral Services are Thursday (January 24) 12 Noon at St. Thomas Assyrian Church of the East, 120 Cabot Street, New Britain, followed by burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Meriden. Calling hours are Wednesday 5 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Home 45 Franklin Square, New Britain.
