Christine A. (Pelc) Pettico, 68, of Chicopee, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Edward J. and Katherine S. (Dorunda) Pelc and was a graduate of Holyoke High School. Christine was a longtime Pharmacy Technician for Omni Care, retiring in 2010.

She had lived in Chicopee since 2006, and was a communicant of Saint Patrick’s Church in South Hadley, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Christine belonged to the Saint Patrick’s Women’s Club, and was a member of the National Blank Book Golf League. She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Matthew G. Pettico; two brothers: Ronald E. Pelc (Carm Barker) of Granby and Edward J. Pelc (Geraldine Dupre) of South Hadley; a niece Katie Marie Pelc; two nephews: Nicholas and Brian Pelc; two great nephews, Landon and Tyler Pelc, a great niece Leah Pelc, a brother in law, Michael T. Pettico of Holyoke, three sisters in law, Mary Cerruti and her husband Richard of Holyoke, Margaret Watt and her husband William of South Hadley, and Madelyn Pettico of Chicopee.

. The funeral will be held Monday, April 23rd at 8:45 a.m. from the Barry J. Farrell funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke, followed by a Mass in Saint Patrick’s Church, 30 Main Street, South Hadley at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, South Hadley. Calling hours will be held Sunday, April 22nd from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Donations may be made in memory of Christine to St. Patrick’s Church, 30 Main Street, South Hadley, MA 01075.
