Christopher Michael “CMAZ” Masarone Christopher Michael Masarone, 29 years old of Ocala Florida It is with broken hearts that we share with the world that Christopher Michael Masarone Sr. Aka “CMAZ” born in Atlantic City on April 5, 1989 was sent into heaven on April 23, 2018. Chris was raised in Mays Landing, NJ and graduated from Oakcrest High School. After high school, he served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a combat veteran while serving his country in multiple overseas tours.

After his service, he worked as a correctional officer for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Chris was just an overall amazing person and he had this beautiful gift of lighting up any room he entered just with his presence. Chris loved being a father and spending time with his beautiful family, riding his motorcycle, and lifting weights.

Christopher is survived by his wife Rosemary Masarone, and his beautiful son Christopher Michael Masarone, Jr. who will carry forward his legacy. Christopher is also survived by his two brothers, Nicholas Peter Masarone, (Twin brother) and Jonathan William Masarone for whom they shared a bond like no other, (Brothers for Life). Christopher is survived by his parents Pete Masarone and Terri Masarone for whom they could not have been any prouder of their son.

Lastly, he is survived by his grandparents Pete and Angie Masarone, John Hruza, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He will be deeply missed by all. A gathering of remembrance will be held on Tuesday May 1, 11 am-1pm at Boakes Funeral Home located at 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing NJ.

Burial with full military honors will follow at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery in Estell Manor. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the “Christopher Michael Masarone, Jr. Fund” and mail to Boakes Funeral Home.
