Claire’s Obituary Claire “Tinybit” Strouth, 77, of Crandall, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in Henderson, TX. She was born on June 26, 1941 in Dallas, TX to Clarence Jackson Richardson and Lucille Odessa Monroe. Claire grew up in Texas and California in the 1950’s and loved rock-n-roll, fast cars, drive-in’s, and hanging out at the beach.

In 1968, she moved back to Texas to continue raising a family. She was an only child and loved having a large family of her own that includes five children, 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Claire was a homemaker and Office Manager that retired from Tom Thumb Grocery in Mesquite, TX in 2009.

She loved spending time with family, gardening, reading, watching the Dallas Cowboys/Texas Rangers/Dallas Mavericks, and was the luckiest bingo and slot machine player! Claire was preceded in death by her father and mother, daughters Jenine Loonan and Deanna Halter. Claire is survived by her husband of 44 years, Tony Strouth of Crandall, TX; children: Richard J. Reites of Huntsville, TX, Skip Loonan of Crandall, TX, Lori Baker of Lewisville, TX, Lisa Eastland and husband David of Henderson, TX, Jaime Strouth and wife Marie of Crandall, TX, Kimberly Robbins of Plano, TX, and Chris Strouth of Amarillo, TX.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Rhonda Reites, Jed Reites, Holly Anderson and her husband Anson, Scotty Braswell and his significant other ChiAnn Hampton, Bobby Braswell and his wife Jessica, Scott Baker, Carissa Baker, Jessica Eastland, Travis Eastland, Sean Maguire, Sherrie Stovall, Vickie Frieling, Doug Halter, Danny Halter, and Dustin Halter; great grandchildren: Savanna Reites, Kyra Reites, Caitlyn Woolley, Charlotte Reites, Caylee Reites, Kason Anderson, Bella Anderson, Jenny Grantham, and Rhett Braswell; a large extended family, many friends and Tom Thumb Grocery associates. Claire was known for her caring, sweet, and giving demeanor and her love for all. She instilled that love, kindness, and her belief in Jesus Christ to her entire family.
