Clara Adelia Gorman of Nappanee, Indiana went home to be with the Lord at 12:19 a.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2018 in Mentone, Indiana at the age of 64. She was born on September 6, 1953 in Pike County, Ohio to William Davis and Mary (Mustard) Davis. She was married to Walter Fred Gorman, who died on March 26, 2006.

Clara retired in 2002 from R.R. Donnelley & Sons of Warsaw, Indiana where she worked as a hoist driver. She loved to shop, especially flea markets. Clara enjoyed home re-modeling and gardening.

Most of all she loved her family, and will be missed by all. She will be lovingly remembered by her son: Larry (wife Virginia) Davis (Nappanee, Indiana); four daughters: Karen (husband Scott) Wallis (Mentone, Indiana); Mary Gregory (Van Wert, Ohio); Rebbecca “Becky” (husband John) Sellers (Bourbon, Indiana); Rachel (husband David) Hite (Warsaw, Indiana); significant other: Joe White (Nappanee, Indiana). She also leaves behind 24 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 5 great-grand-dogs, 1 grand-bird, 2 great-grand-cats; brother: William “Tom” Davis (Warsaw, Indiana); sister: Mary Purdy (Warsaw, Indiana); and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Walter Fred Gorman, grandson Justin Waddle, and her brother Wes Davis. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Oakwood Cemetery and officiated by Michael Miller. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
