Ronald “Ron” Eugene Ogden, recently moving to Goshen, Indiana and a longtime Winona Lake, Indiana resident, passed away at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital of Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 66. He was born on January 28, 1952 in Warsaw, Indiana to Donald Eugene Ogden and Wanita Faith (Reeves) Ogden. On August 18, 1973 he was married to Rebecca “Becky” Jean (Bryant) Ogden, who survives.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Rebecca “Becky” Jean Ogden (Goshen, Indiana); two sons: Josh (wife Sarah) Ogden (Winona Lake, Indiana); Zhenya (wife Vanessa) Ogden (Goshen, Indiana); two daughters: Ginger (husband Jeremy) Byng (Goshen, Indiana); and Dasha Ogden (Goshen, Indiana). He also leaves behind six grandchildren: Isaac, Micah, Jacob, Lily, Riah and Rhett; and two Sisters: Kathie (husband Jim) Jenkins (Jacksonville, Florida); Diane (husband Bob) Grenfell (Warsaw, Indiana). He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald E. Ogden in 2015 and his mother Wanita Ogden in 2006.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana. A celebration of Ron’s life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Jim Brown and Pastor Tom Miller. Private burial will take place.
