OBITUARY Clara B. Roberts November 11, 1953 – January 25, 2019 Clara B. Roberts, 65, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019, at Deaconess Gateway. She was born in Evansville, IN on November 11, 1953, to the late Joel Stewart and Thelma A. (Dixon) Roberts, Sr. Clara worked for the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation for 30 years as a Counselor at Bosse High School. She was a member of Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church.

She was also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She is survived by her daughter, Emmanuelle “Manny” Roberts (Bonnie Griest); sister, Constance “Connie” Kelley; brother, Rev. James Roberts, Sr. (Arletha); and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church, 867 E. Walnut Street, officiated by Pastor Larry Rascoe, Sr., with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Scholarship or Joshua Academy.
