Clara J. Vowell, 84, of Fairbanks, Indiana passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born on August 23, 1934 in Sullivan, Indiana the daughter of Henry and Evalyn (Adams) Wright. Clara was a bookkeeper for several years and a member of the Wabash Valley Community Church.

Clara is preceded in death by her parents and husband James Vowell. Survivors include three sons; Colyn (Cheryl) Cox of Sullivan, Indiana, Calvin (Kathie) Cox of Sullivan, Indiana and Scott (Teresa) Cox of Farmersburg, Indiana, daughter, Shelby Eagle of Hymera, Indiana, brother, Melvin B. (Janice) Wright of Paxton, Indiana, ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Johnson Cemetery in Graysville, Indiana with Pastor John Moyer officiating.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
