Obituary for Claude Aaron Puett, Jr. HANDLEY-Claude Aaron Puett Jr., 92, went to be with his Lord, Thursday, May 10, 2018. Visitation: 10:45 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2018, at Mount Olivet. Service to follow at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Mount Olivet Chapel.
Claude was born July 6, 1925, in Santa Rita, New Mexico. He moved to Fort Worth as an infant and graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1942. Claude apprenticed at what was at that time T&P Railroad and retired from what is now Union Pacific Railroad.
He served in the US Navy in WWll on the USS Chester in the South Pacific and was recalled to service in Korea. Survivors: Wife of 42 years, Norma; daughter, Claudia Burrage and husband Pete; stepson, Mark Milburn and wife, Trena; grandchildren, Erica Williams and husband, Jayme, Tiffany Hayes and husband, Devin, and Trent Kepley and wife, Theresa; and great-grandchildren, Evee and J.J.
