OBITUARY Cleotilde Rivera August 24, 1924 – September 16, 2018 Cleotilde “Tila” Rivera, 94, of Falfurrias, Texas died September 16, 2018. She was born on August 24, 1924 in Cuero, Texas to Delfino and Luz Gonzalez Cuellar. Tila is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Valentin Rivera, her son, Jose Valentin Rivera and many brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her six daughters, Elicia (Jorge) Berra and Dalia Radecki both of Chicago, Illinois, Belia Rivera, Noelia (Jose) Trevino, Lucy (Ruben) Garza and Pam (Rolando) Gutierrez all of Falfurrias; five sons, Raul (Mary)Rivera, Roel Rivera and Rumaldo “Tumy” (Rosalinda) Rivera all of Falfurrias, Roberto (Aurora) Rivera of McAllen, Texas and Raudel Rivera of Universal City, Texas; sister, Maria Martinez of Taft, Texas; brother, Ramon Cuellar of Taft and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons. Pallbearers: Joel Soriano, Gabriel Rivera, Lamar Ramirez, Xavier Garza, Robert Rivera, Jr., J.V. Rivera and Roel Gutierrez.

Honorary Pallbearers: Rolando Gutierrez, Jr. Michael Rivera, Armando Soriano, Noel Ramirez and Omar Ramirez. Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias with weather permitting.
