OBITUARY Clifford Yancey August 12, 1933 – October 11, 2018 Clifford Yancey, age 85, departed this life, on October 11, 2018. Mr. Yancey worked for Attalla City Board of Education for 25 years as the Maintenance and Transportation Supervisor. He loved his family and enjoyed being outdoors, and he loved his dog, Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joyce Yancey and Lucy Banach; brothers, CB Yancey and Calton Yancey; sisters, Myrt Scaggs, Jo Wilson, and Rose Kines. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 56 years, Nina Yancey; daughters, Lori Reese Yancey (James) of Boaz, and Michelle Yancey (Nicole Coopersmith Yancey) or Nashville, Tennessee; Grandsons Nick Yancey, Caden Yancey, Jake Yancey, and Brody Yancey; sister, Ann Smith of Rock Hill, South Carolina, and many nieces. Graveside services will be held 2pm, Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.
