Clinton Ewell Simmons, 30, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 8, 2019, in Hendricks County, Indiana. He was born in Lebanon, Indiana on October 24, 1988, a son of Marvin C. and Cathy S. (McKinney) Simmons. He was raised in Boone County, Indiana and graduated from Western Boone High School in 2008.

Following school, he attended Ivy Tech in Indianapolis. Later, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served as Private E-2. After his return from the military, Clinton began working as a Tire Tech for Pomp’s and Love’s Truck Stop.

He was a devoted son, brother, and friend. Clinton enjoyed being a foster parent for many four legged friends, a member of Amtgard, and spending time with his family. Survivors: Parents: Marvin and Cathy Simmons – Lebanon, Indiana Grandmother: Polly McKinney-Lebanon, Indiana Two Sisters: Kim Simmons-Lebanon, Indiana Amy (Ben) Smith-Thorntown, Indiana Brother: Creed A. (Kristy) Simmons -Fountain, Colorado Fiancée: Heather Tyner – Lebanon, Indiana Children: Samantha Tyner-Lafayette Alexandria Tyner-Lebanon Michaela Tyner-Lebanon Four Nephews: Vincent (Haleigh) Smith Avery Smith Eli Simmons Cole Smith One Niece: Zaria Smith Great Nephew: Maxwell Smith along with several cousins, aunts and uncles.

Grandson: Braxton Sharpe-Lafayette Clinton was preceded in death by grandparents, Bill McKinney, Creed Simmons and Virginia Simmons. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana. Funeral Services are to be held on Saturday, May 18, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home in Lebanon.

Interment will follow services at Old Union Cemetery in Jamestown, Indiana. Memorials may be made in his honor Humane Society for Boone County, P. O. Box 708, Lebanon, Indiana 46052. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Clinton Simmons please visit our Sympathy Store.
