Obituary for Colleen Marie Hull Colleen Marie Hull, age 57, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday July 7, 2018 on one of the most beautiful days of the year, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Colleen was born on Valentine’s Day February 14, 1961 to Robert F. and Patricia O’Connor in Elgin, Illinois. Colleen is survived by her loving husband Joe of 27 years, whom she married June 1, 1991; son Riley and daughters’ Morgan and Lindsay, along with her adoring dogs’ Maisy and Ralph.
Colleen is also survived by her devoted siblings Kevin O’Connor (Beth), Katy Crawford (Bob), Timothy O’Connor (Karen) and Patricia Sue O’Connor, along with her 11 fond nieces and nephews and eight great nieces and nephews (Kevin has four, Katy has one, Timothy has one and Patricia has two). Colleen’s values were centered on faith, family and friends. A member of St. Michael Church in Worthington, she was active with Walking with Purpose at St. Joan of Arc in Powell.
Colleen spent countless hours volunteering at St. Michael School and Church, Bishop Watterson Mother’s Club and Cheerleading/Field Hockey Captain’s Mom and St. Lawrence Haven, along with assisting her husband with numerous Worthington AM Rotary activities. Colleen was always there for others, especially her family and numerous friends. Colleen’s beautiful smile always lit up the room, along with her great sense of humor.
Colleen loved decorating, music, working out, hosting get-togethers, walking her dogs and most importantly raising her children to be strong, independent, caring and faithful stewards of the Lord. Visitation will be held on Friday July 13, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St. Worthington, OH 43085. A mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St Michael’s Catholic Church, interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery In lieu of flowers, please kindly consider a donation in Colleen’s memory to the Susan G.
